Postdoctoral Positions:
We are also looking for motivated Postdoctoral scholars to join our lab. Please email Prof. Agrawal with your research interests and CV. We encourage you to apply for the Institute Postdoctoral Fellowship at IIT Kanpur.
We are seeking postdoctoral researchers with strong expertise in hardware development, experimental testing, and system prototyping to contribute to ongoing and upcoming planetary exploration projects. The specific project will be determined based on mutual interest and alignment with lab priorities. See the Research page for overview of current topics.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, fabrication, and testing of space system prototypes.
Conduct experimental campaigns including drop tests, wind tunnel tests, and impact simulations.
Collaborate on validation and data analysis for system dynamics models.
Work closely with graduate students and contribute to publications and proposals.
Support mission planning and subsystem integration efforts.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in hardware prototyping, experimental testing, and system integration.
Familiarity with tools such as CAD, data acquisition systems, and simulation platforms.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative research environment.
